Woke up at 5:45 in the morning to beat the heat and go have a shoot all around grapevine with the best friend! We started at the lake, moving to the marina, the flower mound, and finally old town... here is part two: the flower mound and downtown grapevine!

Looking Back (three)

Sweet Sixteen! March 2010.

This year for my sixteenth birthday I got my DSLR camera! So instead of having a classic birthday party I brought two friends to the Dallas Arboretum for a 'photo shoot' like day! It ended up being a awesome! We spent like two hours walking around by all the beautiful flowers taking hundreds of pictures! haha! I love these two girls so much!

New York Choir Trip #2! April 2010 (w/people).

This year's choir trip was to New York City, New York! It was incredible! We stayed in a hotel right by Time Square, sang on a Battleship or something called the Intrepid, had a clinic with a real broadway star, competed in a competition placing third nationally (one of our judges being the permanent phantom from Phantom of the Opera)!, shopped, had a party on a boat with a whole bunch of other choirs, sang in St. Paul's Cathedral, and the most amazing event... we SANG ON BROADWAY at curtain call with the cast of West Side Story! I'm sure I left a ton out, but the point is that it was such an awesome trip!

Sister's Junior Prom! May 2010.

My sister's first prom! She started off getting ready with her best friend (wearing a dress made completely made by our grandma), getting picked up by the dates at our house (for tons of pictures of course), heading off to the actual group picture/dinner location, riding off to prom in a limo with the big group, and finally finishing at the after prom party!

p.s. this ended up being the same night i popped a tire on the car by hitting a curb WAY to fast, scariest moment of my life!... but now i successfully know how to change a tire!
